Dedicated to Single Moms Left Behind
During a morning stroll in Colombia’s Coffee Country, James 1 Pianist, Wiley Skaret, comes upon a painted piano in the rustic open-air living room of a fruit farm. As he plays his version of Wonderful, Merciful, Savior, he falls into the life of a young widow (James 1 actress, Natalia Alarcon) and her daughter as they get ready for the day. As the two rush off for soccer practice, Wiley’s music transforms into the playing of the Colombian national anthem, while a children’s neighborhood soccer match is transformed to the big leagues. . . a World Cup of sorts! And as her daughter puts in a winning goal, the young widow is carried away with her emotions to a valley of peace, tranquility, and renewal. After the day’s activities, the young widow and her daughter return home to reflect on another day without their husband and father.

The Colombian National Police and Technical Investigative Corps are the tip of the spear fighting against major transnational organized crime syndicates that seek to supply each corner of the world with their vicious poison — cocaine. But in the course of dangerous operations throughout this country, Colombia’s brave police commandos and others on the front line are dying by the hundreds each year. The majority of these deaths are young men who leave behind families and small pensions. But we can help.
Join us as we provide university scholarships for children of these brave heroes.
